Beauty Meets Competition at Sephoria Los Angeles 2026: Creative Arcades x Topicals

When Sephoria Los Angeles 2026 made its highly anticipated return to Los Angeles, it brought with it major buzz, high-energy brand activations, and appearances from a wide range of influencers and A-list celebrities. As one of the most talked-about beauty and skincare events of the year, Sephoria creates the perfect stage for brands to stand out in creative, memorable ways. Creative Arcades was excited to partner with Topicals to deliver a unique, interactive experience that blended skincare branding with arcade-style entertainment.

For this activation, we designed and built a fully customized boxing arcade machine tailored specifically to Topicals’ brand identity. The cabinet featured a clean, eye-catching wrap incorporating their signature pink-salmon color palette, their logo, and their iconic “Faded” product-inspired pattern. To elevate the design even further, we created a completely custom circular marquee shaped like a giant replica of their under-eye patches—an instantly recognizable visual that tied directly into their product line and branding. The result was a one-of-a-kind machine that felt like a natural extension of their brand.

Topicals took the concept even further by transforming their booth into a full boxing ring experience. Complete with championship belts, branded visuals, and immersive design elements, their activation created a high-impact environment that drew attention from across the convention floor. The custom boxing arcade became a centerpiece of the space, inviting attendees to step in, interact, and engage with the brand in a fun, competitive way. Surrounded by a sea of beauty brands, this setup truly stood out and became one of the most talked-about booths at the event.

This project was completed as part of our flexible rental program, making it easy for brands like Topicals to incorporate premium arcade experiences without committing to a full purchase. We handled on-time delivery and setup for the convention, ensuring everything was ready to go for the event. After enjoying the machine throughout Sephoria, the unit was returned and 50% of the machine cost was refunded—making it a powerful, cost-effective marketing solution.
